In July 2022, Season 2’s chat bridge (The DiscordSRV Bridge (AxolotlChat)) kept posting the same line.
It began on 7 July with Emperor Sian himself: “EmperorSian2460 hit the ground too hard” 1. Then came ntize, who played as _eb, and who quickly made the phrase his own: “_eb hit the ground too hard” 2. The culprits were Sian’s drop tower and a soul sand elevator, and fall damage from both filled the chat.
The feed even gained extra clauses as the chaos grew, such as “_eb hit the ground too hard whilst trying to escape EmperorSian2460” 3 and, most impressively, “_eb hit the ground too hard whilst trying to escape _eb” 4.
It did not stop. The same message was still filling the channel on 13 and 16 July 5 6, by which point it needed no explanation. eb’s reputation for dying in every possible way is part of his legend (The First War: Warden Head Feud is another chapter of his legend).
