The friends’ Discord has never been bot-free. The first one the lore records is Groovy, a music bot added on 16 May 2021 after IRIS asked, “can u add groovy here”, so that people could play songs while gaming. 1 2
Over the years the crowd grew. The readers list Axolotl (2022), Midjourney, Grow a Tree, Nekotina, Wheel of Names, Axolotl Chat (23 October 2023) and ASMP Chat (4 December 2023). 3 4 5 Axolotl Chat and ASMP Chat seem to be the bots behind the in-game relay lines that fill the chat logs: joins, deaths and advancements.
The newest arrivals sit right at the edge of the record: AxolotlVoice on 30 October 2026, 6 and AxolotlWiki on 7 November 2026, whose arrival is told in The AxolotlWiki Bot Arrives, where GrimWatch is on record calling it an “ai wrapper for lore”.
