Server Lag Crisis

TPS fell to 4-9 and MSPT to 60-70 with only a few players online; kira blamed 1.18 and wished for better hardware.

Event ASMP S1 24 Dec 2021

From 24 December 2021 into the new year, the server lagged badly. kira watched TPS hit 8, 1 and Suresh reported MSPT at 70, constantly. 2 Even a few players online pushed it to 60-70 MSPT. Kira blamed 1.18 and an unfinished lithium, and wished he could afford a better server; dynamic view distance was added later. On 30 December he reported: “server lagging so hard, it started raining in the nether”. 3
