prop had a plan. The server had held an event for the warden, and the first Ender Dragon was to get the same treatment. He had told Saitama (who plays as Akshay7432) that the “warden is the real shit”, but “dont defeat just yet” 1 2: “we make event” 3. See The First Dragon Is Saved for Everyone.
At about 4:18 in the morning on 11 July 2022, Saitama killed the dragon on his own, not knowing it was meant to be a milestone. He announced it with “noice” 4. Emperor Sian was the first to realise: “Weren’t we not supposed to kill it” 5. kira asked, “you finished the dragon?” 6. Saitama came away with an elytra 7 and a dragon head, both of which he said the dragon dropped 8.
prop took it hard. He called it “betrayal” 9 and said he was “80% into quitting” 10. Then he posted a formal “Event Cancelled” notice, saying Saitama had beaten everyone to it and “unintentionally ruined this event” 11. He opened the End to everyone and logged the day in the season’s events channel as “The Enderdragon was slain by Saitama (ruined the second event of the server)” 12. Saitama himself said “i’ll respawn” 13, so the dragon could be brought back for a later event. Weeks earlier prop had joked that Saitama would join for a day or two and then leave “until there is a event” 14 (see Saitama the event-only player); this time he turned up and spoiled one.
