Pumpkin farm and auto wool farm completed

The third day of Axolotl SMP Season 1 was a farming afternoon for prop. His first announcement was “pumpkin farm done” ¹. Soon after, he set up a shearing farm: sheep trapped in a pen, with a dispenser and an observer doing the work. It still needed “a hopper minecart for automatic” collection ², and prop had no iron, so GrimWatch offered to take one from his chest.

When kira logged in, prop reported that the pumpkin farm was doing well, and kira was impressed. “fucking legend”, he wrote, “made pumpkin farm already” ³, and a minute later added “you absolute chad”. Prop took the praise modestly (“we had the stuff and ez design”) and mentioned that clearing the space had cost him three iron pickaxes.

Later that afternoon came the other announcement: “wool farm works” ⁴. The Auto wool farm needed only shears refilled in the dispenser now and then. In prop’s words, it would give the group all the wool they would ever need. Kira, for his part, had already moved on to the next step, “aight lets get to trading” ⁵, which meant pumpkins and bread to the villagers in return for emeralds.
