Season 2 had gone quiet by December 2022. On the 11th prop logged back in for what he called a “random 2-month grind”, and found the place changed.

His first discovery was the Technoblade Statue: “why is there a hole in the technobladew statue”. ¹ It had taken a creeper blast. Worse was his own prop's villager trading hall and supersmelter, so damaged that he asked kira the obvious question: “mfer when did u mess up my trading hall this much”. ²

Kira could only shrug. There was “no way to check who caused those explosions cause anarchy”. ³ Season 2 had been an anarchy server from the first day, and that meant no logs of blame and no appeals.

Asked why the server had died off, kira gave a plain answer: “we dont have a lot of time after clg and we would rather spend that time being toxic in valo than play mc”. ⁴ It is one of the better epitaphs for the season, which was replaced by the modded Axolotl SMP Season 2.5; the statue’s wider story is in The Technoblade Statue War.
