Outage While kira Was Away

The server went down while kira was away from home, and again in June, leaving him waiting for someone to restart it by hand.

Event ASMP S1 26 May 2022 – 1 Jun 2022

On 26 May 2022 kira announced that the server was down because “something got fucked” and he couldn’t work out what from away from home (“who knew”). 1 It was fixed on 1 June. 2

It happened again on 15 June, with neither the website nor SSH reachable. kira could only wait for DeathHack127 to get home from school and restart the machine by hand. 3 4 He also planned a Discord bot to restart the server remotely.
