Out of Space Crash

A crash dropped everyone while kira debugged a sorter; the cause was a full allocation and a single shared core.

On 12 April 2022, while kira was debugging a multi-item sorter, the server dropped everyone. prop’s reaction was a bewildered “bro what”. 1

After the restart prop saw 35 mspt. kira’s diagnosis was that “1 core prolly isn’t enough”: the single core was shared with BlueMap and the Discord bot. 2 3 The crash itself, he added, happened because the server ran out of the space he had allocated. 4 The fix was to bump it up to 2 cores.
