IRIS Cannot Connect to the VPN Server

"IRIS could not rejoin and got "unknown host"; prop and the others pointed at the VPN, and IRIS eventually found the cause."

Event ASMP S2.5 28 Feb 2023

On 28 February 2023, IRIS tried to rejoin Season 2.5 and could not. “unable to join server,” he reported 1, and posted a screenshot of the failed join. prop asked whether he was using the right address 2, but the game kept answering with an unknown host 3.

The chat settled on the VPN as the culprit, and IRIS shared a screenshot of his WireGuard tunnel while hunting for the problem. A few minutes later he had it: “ok found out why” 4.
