On 2024-06-08 IRIS announced that he could rule the world with totems of undying, and began building a raid farm to prove it 1. The sources differ a little on where the plan came from: the planning forum credits IRIS, while the game chat shows him (as abishekishere in game) announcing “we build a raid farm now” and picking an “easy small one” 2 3. Either way, it was a team effort, with prop pitching in.
Prop worried that raid farms might break in 1.21, but the farm that went up was a small, cheap, non-stacking one at the shore, run on a single villager, IRIS’s. It worked the same afternoon. IRIS earned “Voluntary Exile” and then “Hero of the Village” at its first raid 4, and prop declared “project complete” 5.
The farm is recorded as Raid Farm (Season 3). Besides totems, the Hero of the Village effect also brought cheap enchantments.
