Internet Cable Cut

A cut internet cable knocked the Season 2 server offline until the provider repaired it.

On Christmas Eve 2022 the server went dark because the internet cable feeding k1R4’s host machine was cut by people “cleaning” the empty land nearby. 1

The provider came through: kira praised them for resolving the fault within three hours of his complaint. 2 A minor outage, but a reminder that the whole world ran on one cable.
