Fortress Hunt and 107 Blaze Rods

Sian and _eb went hunting for a Nether fortress and spent a long while lost in the basalt deltas, picked off by piglins, a wither skeleton, blazes and ghast fire.

Event ASMP S2 8 Jul 2022

Sian and _eb set out to find a Nether fortress and got thoroughly lost in the basalt deltas, dying to piglins, a wither skeleton, blazes and ghast fire along the way. 1

Sian eventually found a fortress, and a spawner inside it. 2 3 With a Looting III sword he farmed the blazes until he announced “i have 104 blaze rods” 4; the chat’s catalogue puts the final haul at about 107, enough for brewing and a zombifying setup.
