DeathHack127 Lives Again as L3vi18

When the first season’s world came back to life as The Return, Levi had a problem. His old account, DeathHack127, had been hacked, and he was now playing as L3vi18. ¹ His items, ender chest and stats were all stuck on the old name.

prop had a fix. Because the server runs in offline mode, a player’s identity is only a name-derived UUID, so he could take the old player file and place it on the UUID of the new name. On 4 November 2026 he found the old data (“ok found it DeathHack127”) ² and started the transfer. The server died partway through (“tf server died”) and had to be restarted.

Then Levi logged in. “it worked,” he wrote, ³ followed soon after by “i love you”. ⁴ Everything was there, including the stats, and he stood far from everyone else at about -5000 -2765, right where the old character had left off.

The old and new names are now one player.
