On 2025-09-12 prop pinged everyone with the news:
Axolotl SMP Create Edition Season 3 is officially launched get the mods at the mod-list channel in the github release link which will be constantly updated in case future updates also 1
It was the formal start of the third Create season on Axolotl Create Season 3, a day after prop had floated a UHC opener for the first session.
Launch day itself was not smooth. The Velocity proxy kept trying to reconnect modded clients while rejecting them for their mods, the “reconnect loop” prop described in the chat 2. The workaround was to bypass the proxy: “join directly thru sculk.local:25566 itself” 3. prop, meanwhile, was struggling with his own network and spent part of the day exploring on mobile data (a screenshot of his “7 trillion ping” survives), before his connection finally stabilised. He praised NeoForge’s performance once in.
Before heading off to explore he also reserved a ravine spot for a future build: “dont build anything at 140 ~ 91 approx we make something pog here later” 4. See also Levi Joins Create Season 3.
