A week after the server’s first ancient city event (Conquest of the Ancient City), Emperor Sian and ntize (_eb) went back to raid on their own on 2022-07-16. They followed the The White Wool Line of Life, laying wool paths to muffle vibrations, and scouted with freecam, “trying not to die to the warden” 1.
It did not entirely work. The server announced that _eb “was obliterated by a sonically-charged shriek” 2, a sonic boom that cost him his gear.
The pair moved on to another city. Sian came away with a Swift Sneak 3 book 3, and had a verdict on the new site: “also this place is massive bigger than the last 2” 4. Two of the cities they used are described at The First Ancient City and Second Ancient City.
